Yesterday I asked if you were getting started with your journey of learning SDN. I provided a number of links to helpful resources. One essential in the learning process is called MiniNet. MiniNet is an open-source, freely available VM that allows you to create a Virtual network running real kernel, switch and application code on your laptop, and simulate an SDN, controller-based, network.
Once you’ve downloaded MiniNet, and rather than regurgitate information that is already out there, I urge you to take a look at the Get Started With MiniNet page. Once you have it installed and running, come back here for additional tips to help you learn. We will be posting more in the upcoming weeks.
