I’ve been a bit quiet here on the blog as I’ve been cranking away at CCNP Security video courses. Happily the SENSS program is done and contains the six courses listed below. The material covered in these six courses should prepare you for the SENSS 300-206 exam. The courses included live demonstrations as well as technical explanations of various protocols, attacks, features and such.
The following lists each courses in the SENSS exam program. I would highly recommend watching them in the order shown here.
- Secure Design Principles for CCNP Security (300-206) SENSS
- Network Infrastructure Protection for CCNP Security (300-206) SENSS
- Cisco ASA NAT for CCNP Security (300-206) SENSS
- Cisco IOS NAT for CCNP Security (300-206) SENSS
- ASA Threat Control for CCNP Security (300-206) SENSS
- Cisco IOS Threat Control for CCNP Security (300-206) SENSS
These courses can be found at Pluralsight.com, and require a membership with Pluralsight to view them. There are numerous benefits to a Pluralsight membership, one being access to the configuration files so you can lab up the demonstrations on your own. Also, as a Pluralsight member you can access a discussion form that I monitor. If you have questions related to any of the courses in the series, thats where you want to post them.
I’m currently working on the SISAS program. There is one course available right now; Introduction to Cisco ISE for CCNP Security (300-208) SISAS This course takes you into the initial install of Cisco ISE 1.2 (which is what’s tested on the exam) and an integration with AD. You also install certificates and add Network Access Devices. The course also covers some basic authentication and Mac Authentication Bypass (MAB).
As more SISAS courses are published you’ll find them on my Author page and I will also blog about them here at Global Config.
After SISAS I plan to tackle SIMOS and SITCS, so stay tuned. I also have a few other courses in mind, so I should be pretty busy. In addition to the courses there I’ll also be offering a few new webinars on various CCNP Security topics, as well as Cisco ASA with FirePOWER services and Cisco ISE 1.4 topics. Sign up for our newsletter to get information on those webinars and availability.
