IPExpert Section 15: See Ya Later!

Man it feels good to get that one behind me! I really felt good today. Here is how I broke it down:

  • 9am to 10am I had 32 points and Section 1, 2, 3.5, and all of 5 done.
  • 10am to 11am I had 33 points and Section 6, 9.2, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3.and 3.4 done
  • 11am to 11:30am I had 9 points and was finished with Section 8
  • I took an hour and a half lunch and went to Dixies BBQ on the East Side…Yes I have met the man!
  • 1pm to 2pm I had slowed down a bit and worked in 9 points with some of section 7 (VPN)
  • 2pm to 3pm I squeeked in 8 more VPN points. I had to fumble a bit with a VPN between PIX and ASA and I’m still not sure of I did exactly what they wanted.
  • 3pm I grabbed 2 more points by finishing that VPN. I had a TON of probs with the EZVPN client in network extension mode. The VPN Client on the XP pc can connect ok so I know that the VPN concentrator is ok but the router that is acting as the client is doing PAT and that got me screwed up a bit. PAT works but the VPN doesnt. Ill need to do a little more reading on EZVPN scenarios.

    • That was it. What a day. Tomorrow I start Lab 16. Tonight I veg out and read something on my Kindle reader!
