There are a number of ways you can keep up to date with Global Config Technology Solutions, Inc. Whether it’s through Social outlets, RSS, or good old fashioned email, we have a way for you to follow our technical posts, free events, and killer specials. Below you’ll find quick links to each of these options.
You can use an RSS reader to subscribe to our blog. RSS readers are nice because they automatically update with current content when you open them. There are many RSS readers out there for mobile devices and desktops. We recommend Feedly. Feedly has mobile apps as well as the ability to read using a browser. RSS is like getting the newspaper every day. Simply subscribe to the RSS feed of your favorite sites and you’re ready to go!
Twitter is also a great place to get updates, but even more so, there is a large community of networking professionals that communicate via twitter. Our own Brandon Carroll is a frequent user of twitter. Follow him and us and start to expand your network. It’s best to get a twitter client like tweetbot or even the twitter app. This way you can manage the stream of information more efficiently. You can still use the twitter web site. It’s undergone a number of iterations and is pretty usable these days.
We’re on facebook also and we offer a number of special discounts that can only be found on our facebook page. We also publish our technical articles to facebook so you can keep up in one place. Another nice feature of facebook is that we can “like” and “share” other pages and posts. From time to time we will share other information that we think you will be interested in.
You can also follow our Google+ page. We publish our technical articles here as well as share other articles from around the interwebs that may interest you also. From time-to-time we use Google+ to share special offers, but that really doesn’t happen too often here. Mostly we use Google+ to share technical information and conversations with other like-minded network professionals.
We like email but we know it can get out of hand. Our email list shares once a month with an aggregation of our technical articles, our current course schedule, and special offers and discounts. It’s low volume but packed with technical content. Sign up on the bottom right hand side of this page.
