Is anyone else using Delicious for sharing bookmarks? I’m interested in your thoughts on the service as well as whether you bookmark your own posts or only bookmark sites you find useful.
I am also interested to hear your thoughts on Facebook. Recently I have become more active on Facebook as I can see its power in communicating with people on multiple levels. I can say that I dont plan on being logged into numerous systems (twitter, facebook, etc..) but I have installed the Facebook toolbar for Firefox and have gotten twitter integrated with facebook. How about you?
Delicios Bookmarking and Facebook

Hi,
I am using Delicious Bookmark for years, but do not bookmark posts.
The service is very good and you can access anywhere anytime it is highly recomended.
I have a Facebook Account but i like much more Linkedin.
My 2 cents.
Hi Brandon,
Del.icio.us, now delicious.com: YES! I use it a lot, I tag posts all the time and I like it immensely. It is something that gets better as you use it over time as your collection grows. Nowadays it is my primary bookmark tool for interesting tidbits.
On a similar note, I also recommend the Scrapbook firefox extension for local archiving of files. I organized local copies of common pages I refer to (Cisco password recovery procedures, datasheets, etc…) and it complements my Delicious db nicely.
Facebook: Yes, I use it, but for “personal” social networking mostly. All my “professional” social networking is done on LinkedIn. Still, I like facebook for light-hearted updates from friends and colleagues.
My personal social network setup is:
Professional – LinkedIn (98%) and Plaxo (2%) Personal – Orkut (60%) and Facebook (40%)
No twitter for me…
PS: I’ve passed SNPA with the help of your Quick Reference book (thanks!) and I’m now working on SNRS…
@ Fernando:
What a great response. I am interested in checking out this Scrapbook firefox extension now.
I’m also glad to see you passed the SNPA with the quick reference. I enjoyed writing that one!
