I am currently at the airport in Santa Ana, California, waiting for my one hour flight to San Jose, Ca where I have the privilege of joining a number of other bloggers in GestaltIT’s Networking Tech Field Day. I’m not getting paid for this event, however the trip itself is sponsored. I want to take full advantage of every second I have there, so, if you are in the area please stop by and introduce yourself at the Double Tree Hotel in San Jose this afternoon. Read the invitation to connect for more details.

Also, While in San Jose I have access to a number of Vendors, but not just their sales people. I will have access to some of their brightest engineers, so if you have ANY questions please fill out the form on my LIVE POST and I’ll get some sort of response from these engineers.

For a Full list of the vendors I’ll be visiting please check out the GestaltIT page for Networking Tech Field Day. I look forward to meeting you as well as receiving you questions for the vendors.

Regards,

Brandon

I am curious to hear what you want in a training provider. I’m not just talking at the CCIE level. I am talking in general, for all Cisco training. What matters to you? I created a poll with as much as I can think of but I am sure that I have missed something. If you want to add something please leave a comment.

I am interested in this because I have no say over what my company delivers, seeing as how I am a lowly instructor, although I recommend a number of things based on what I know I would want. Not much of what I recommend ever happens.

I liked a lot of the ideas that Brian Dennis had in the Internetwork Expert (IE) corporate announcement and I really like the direction that IE is heading. But I want to know what you think. I am curious if you have similar wants in training as to what I suggest to my company.

So put yourself in the shoes of a student, even if you are a trainer or the owner of a training company, and tell me what YOU would want.

ps- “all of the above” is at the very bottom if you want to save some time checking off boxes.
