&lt;p&gt;I have participated in two classes that run a &quot;simulcast&quot; style instruction. I did BSCI and ISCW classes like this, where the instructor gave the students a choice to either attend in person or virtually.    To be honest it works quite wonderfully and smooth. With the conferencing tools and applications so far advanced today, like Webex, the classes run virtually seamless.&lt;/p&gt;
