Setting up the Cisco VPN Client on a Mac.

This video shows you how I set up the Cisco VPN client on my MacBook to connect to the Ascolta ICND1 labs. For my students, I hope this helps. :)

Links I talked about on Day 3 of CCNA Bootcamp

Well there were a number of topics that came up today. Here we go:
First of all I mentioned a CDP decoder. You can find that here.
I also talked about the Frame Relay Forum. It appears that they became the MPLS and Frame Relay Forum. Since then it looks like they became the IP/MPLS forum. Don’t quote me on that but thats what I was able to deduce in the few minutes I spent.

And finally a summation of the shortcuts I used:

show run | include XXXXX shows and command line item that matched what you put in place of the XXXXXX

show run | begin XXXXX shows the first command line item that matched what you put in place of the XXXXXX and then displays the rest of the configuration.

Dont forget the “do” command. You can pretty much use it anywhere for show, debug, and ping and traceroute commands.
